Trust me (I'm a now 30 year long Linux sysadmin), MacOS is a hell of a lot more stable than what you think or are making it out to be. Oh and that is the STABLE release branch. In a period of 27 days, there were 7 releases of the Linux kernel, and that was just October alone. Then Linux isn't the path for you, especially when you look at what it truly is: the kernel. Stability and reliability MainStage no longer hangs when closing the '8 Drum Pads' concert using Logic Remote. You can now use the new command Reset Window Configuration from the Windows menu to restore the default window configuration for all open windows. Did I forget something? All the rest is just bloatware, something people should install using the AppStore. Beat Breaker is now available as plug-in. When I take all the features of the last 5 years, the text recognition in photos is something I really like. What I need is a stable OS that runs my software - i do not need an OS that changes every month and adds some new features and bugs. RHEL and CentOS certainly don't, Debian doesn't, Slackware never has, and Arch and Mint definitely don't. Not for nothing, but Linux doesn't run off of an Ubuntu release cycle, let alone the multiple distributions of Linux. It is a pain in the a** to upgrade every year just for some stupid gimmicks. Apple should really follow the Linux distribution path and offef LTS versions. Ventura … Maybe I‘ll update in late summer 2023.

His bottomline: COVID-19 vaccines should be mandatory for all. While one might argue that the dead should be left to rest in peace, Stern pointed that there are at least three others still “on the radio preaching this s–t.” “Where do I have that clip of that Marc Bernier, the guy who died?” he said as his chuckling radio cohorts poked fun at the late Bernier’s infamous nickname. Anti-Vax” on his weekday WNDB radio show from Daytona Beach before dying of COVID-19, took a special drubbing from Stern. Longtime co-host Robin Quivers, 69, chimed in,“You know, I have trouble drumming up compassion, and I think that’s a terrible thing to not be able to drum up compassion for people that are stupid, that they wind up dying.”Ĭonservative host Marc Bernier, who dubbed himself “Mr. I wish I had taken it.’ “įamous anti-vax media personalities who got COVID-19 It was like day after day, they were all dying and then their dying words are ‘I wish I had been more into the vaccine. They will not get vaccinated,” Stern said amid laughter during Tuesday’s show. “It’s really funny when these radio, the radio guys are the best, they’re like four of them died, four of them were like ranting on the air. Howard Stern has some harsh words for conservative radio hosts who died of COVID-19 after touting their anti-vax stance: “F–k them, f–k their freedom. The 67-year-old “King of All Media” continued to mock the deceased right-wing radio hosts, taking particular pleasure in pointing out how many of the dead - at first proudly defiant - changed their tunes on their death beds. “When are we going to stop putting up with the idiots in this country and just say, you know, it’s mandatory to get vaccinated?” Stern ranted in Tuesday’s episode of “The Howard Stern Show” on Sirius XM. The iconic shock jock has typically strong opinions about the swelling list of outspoken anti-vaxxer media personalities - including several US radio hosts - who’ve died of COVID-19 after waging high-profile campaigns about their “freedom” being impinged upon. But I must say the Johnny Rocco in our play is very different from the movie. You’ve certainly played a number of parts he might’ve played. Was Robinson someone you grew up watching and admiring? They’re both beautiful parts and emotionally I’m attracted to both, but age-wise I’m more suited for Johnny Rocco at this point. When I heard about this, I thought immediately about the Bogart connection. We got together for two days and went through the play and the screenplay individually and came with our ideas, then created this hybrid with some new ideas that are not in the play or in the movie. So we began, and Matt Shakman introduced me to Jeffrey Hatcher, who has been a blessing. So when someone’s embracing something so quickly, you’ve got to go like, “Okay, so I guess it’s on me now.” I’ve always thought it could be an interesting to adapt the movie Key Largo back to the stage.” They just looked at me without missing a beat and said, “You would do that here?” And I said, “Yeah.” They said, “Okay, we’ll get you a dramaturg to work with and you guys create a new adaptation.” The thing is, I’ve had a blessed creative life, but if I were to tell you the amount of times I’ve gotten “no” in my life, either looking for parts or trying to pitch an idea or finance a film, we wouldn’t have enough time for the interview. And Gil Cates and Matt Shakman said, “You should come do a play here.” And I said, “Yeah, that’d be great. I was performing at the Geffen with my band, which I do a couple of times a year-I have a 13-piece traditional Cuban orchestra, we do classical Cuban music. I always thought, Wouldn’t it be great to either remake the movie in contemporary terms or take it back to the stage? It could be a very entertaining piece of theatre. I knew that Key Largo was based on Maxwell Anderson play. So this is an area that that stimulates me. I’ve written a screenplay about Hemingway and about the creation of The Old Man and the Sea. To Have and Have Not also, and all of Hemingway’s novels that dealt with the sea although Hemingway was not involved in Key Largo, that’s the spirit of it. So when you see a film that deals with a bit with that, then you have sort of a subconscious attraction to it. All these themes are things that appeal to me. I’ve always been attracted to the sea and I fish I have a boat. It was a place that I always been enamored with-just the overall mood of South Florida and the Florida Keys and the Bahamas has been a place where I’ve sort of always found solace. I grew up in Miami Beach after my family and I left Cuba, two and a half years after the revolution, and I would frequent the Keys growing up. ROB WEINERT-KENDT: Why bring Key Largo, which started as a play but is best known as a film, back to the stage?ĪNDY GARCIA: I’ve always been a fan of the film. If you don’t think of Garcia as a stage actor, you’re not wrong-it’s been a good while since he’s trod the boards, though that long absence has not been, as I learned in a recent interview, for lack of interest. Film star Andy Garcia’s newest role is onstage at L.A.’s Geffen Playhouse in his own adaptation (with playwright Jeffrey Hatcher) of the gangster drama Key Largo, originally a 1939 play by Maxwell Anderson, later an iconic 1948 Humphrey Bogart film directed by John Huston. |
